THE UNDERGROUND MUSEUM
Located in the working class neighborhood of Arlington Heights, The Underground Museum is a cultural outpost complete with a garden and film screenings, dedicated to ensuring access to contemporary art and ideas for all of LA's residents.
THE UMOJA CENTER
The Umoja Center is the home for Crenshaw Subway Coalition to operate many programs and advocacy campaigns to resist gentrification and advance community wealth building.
FRIENDS OF THE LA RIVER
The organization's mission is to ensure an equitable, publicly accessible, and ecologically sustainable Los Angeles River by inspiring River stewardship through community engagement, education, advocacy, and thought leadership.
THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF GREATER FLINT
Established in 1988 through the merger of The Flint Public Trust, founded in 1950, and the Flint Area Health Foundation, created in 1978, the resulting Community Foundation of Greater Flint enables people with philanthropic interests to easily and effectively support the issues they care about – immediately or through their estate plan. Some featured community initiatives include access to healthy food, Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation, and neighborhood improvements.
THE WORLD STAGE
The World Stage is an educational and performance art space in Leimert Park Village, the heart of Los Angeles’ African American cultural community.
RAM DASS : LOVE SERVE REMEMBER FOUNDATION
The Love Serve Remember Foundation (LSRF) is dedicated to preserving and continuing the teachings of Neem Karoli Baba and Ram Dass. The foundation facilitates the continuation of these teachings through online courses, blog content, films, podcasts, social network channels and collaborative projects with conscious artists and musicians.
SKY HIGH FARM
Sky High Farm is a non-profit organization committed to addressing food security and nutrition by improving access to fresh, nutritious food for New Yorkers who are living in underserved communities by sustainably growing fresh fruits and vegetables, and raising livestock exclusively for the purposes of donation.
